RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION APPROVING REPORT AND FIXING
HEARING DATE
("I", "J", "L", 20th, 22nd, 24th Streets,
Assessment District No. 153)
The City Council of the City of National City
does hereby resolve as follows:
That the report on the proposed improvement of
"I", "J", "L", 2OTH, 22ND, 24TH STREETS, ASSESSMENT DIS-
TRICT NO. 153 be and hereby is approved.
That a hearing on the report of the City Engineer
regarding said proposed improvement shall be held by the City
Manager and the City Engineer on the loth day of July, 1968,
at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers
in the Civic Center, National City, California.
That on or before the loth day of June, 1968, the
City Clerk shall give notice of said hearing by mailing a
copy of the notice, postage prepaid, to all persons owning
real property which is proposed to be assessed to pay any
part of the cost of the work, and whose names and addresses
appear on the last equalized County Assessment Roll, at their
address as shown upon such Roll or as known to the Clerk.
That at the hearing protests may be made orally or
in writing by any person who would be entitled to protest or
object to the ordering of the things proposed to be done at
a hearing on the Resolution of Intention. All written pro-
tests must be filed with the City Clerk at or before the
time fixed for hearing. Any protest relating to the regular-
ity or sufficiency of the proceedings shall be in writing and
shall clearly set forth the irregularity or defect to which
object is made.
That the City Clerk is hereby directed to file
with the County Recorder of San Diego County, within 15
days after the adoption of this resolution, a copy of the
map of the assessment district heretofor filed in the of-
fice of the City Clerk as required by Section 3111 of the
California Streets and Highways Code.

22ND STREET, 24TH STREET, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 153)
NOTICE IS HERESY GIVEN THAT land owned by you or• in which you are
interested is proposed to be assessed for the proposed improvement of "I"
AVENUE, "J" AVENUE, "L" AVENUE, 2OTH STREET, 22ND STREET, 24TH STREET, ASSESS-
MENT DISTRICT NO. 153. The estimated cost of the improvement above -mentioned
is $94,433.16; the assessed value of the lands within the district is $238,160.00;
the estimated true value of lands within the district is $476,320.00; the esti-
mated total amount of assessments upon lands to be assessed for acquisition or
improvements done or heretofore ordered is none; the estimated amount of the
proposed assessment upon your lands for the proposed improvement mentioned is:
The estimated amount of the proposed assessment is approximate only, it is
based upon the estimated cost above -stated, and is not to be deemed the actual
amount which will be assessed. The amount of money to be contributed towards
the project by the City of National City is the s;mz of $21,225.00 (of which
$6,492.00 is Gas Tax) as a. contribution toward the cost of said work.
A HEARING WILL BE HELD in the City Council Chambers, Civic Center,
1243 National Avenue, National City, California, by the City Manager and the
City Engineer of the City of National City on the 1Otn day of July, 1968, at
the hour of 8:00 p.m., at which time and place all protests and objections
wi11 be heard. Proceedings for said improvement are proposed to be conducted
under the Improvement Act of 1911.
A report on the proposed project is on file in the office of.the
Clerk of the City of National City and is open to public inspection.'
