HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 9565RESOLUTION NO. 9565 RESOLUTION :3RANTING SPECIAL USE PERMIT PURSUANT TO ORDI1iAT''CE 10. 962 (National City Towing Company) The City Council of the City of National City does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: 1. That a request for a Special Use Permit, pur- suant to the provisions of Section 8, Paragraph I(2) of Or- dinance No. 962, has been submitted to the Planning Com- mission, and said Commission at a regular meeting has recommended granting said Special Use Permit upon certain conditions: 2. That the granting of said Special Use Permit, subject to the conditions hereinafter specified, will, in the opinion of the City Council protect the public health, safety and general welfare. 3. That a Special Use Permit is hereby granted with reference to all the certain real property situated in the City of National City, California, more particulary des- cribed as follows: Lots 5 through 10, Block 81, City Plat according to Map No. 348 on file in the County Recorder's Office (1625 Coolidge Avenue). 4. That the Special Use Permit hereby granted for for the construction of an automobile storage lot, including the storage of wrecked automobiles in conjunction with the impounding of said automobiles under City contract. 5. That said Special Use Permit is hereby granted upon the following conditions: a. The Northerly 25 feet of the subject prop- erty, which is a legal subdivided lot 25 feet by 115 feet, encompassing the residential structure known as 1617 Coolidge Avenue, be deleted from: the property and not included within the area to be used for the storage of automobiles or related use until the existing residential structure is removed and the enlargement of the storage area is returned to the City Council and Planning Commission for approval. b. All storage shall be contained within, the area shown on the plot plan as enclosed within a solid redwood fence. c. Residential structure known as 1621 Coolidge Avenue to be removed with the area improved for off-street parking. d. Structure known as 1625 Coolidge Avenue to be remodeled from a residential structure to a commercial struct- ure with no residential occupancy. e. All other residential structures not included as 1 ?17-1621-1625 Coolidge Avenue to be removed. f. Subject premises to be maintained at all times in full compliance with the Zoning Ordinance as amended, in- cluding Ordinances No. 1173 and 1182. g. Subject Special Use Permit shall expire upon the termination of an accepted City contract with the City of National City, or with the cancellation of said contract by theCity of National City. 6. In the event that the City Council should hereafter find and determine that the conditions above set forth have not been satisfied or have been violated, it may declare this Special Use Permit void and of no further effect.
