DEDICATION OF CITY OWNED
PROPERTY FOR PUBLIC STREET PURPOSES
("A" Avenue)
WHEREAS, the City of National City is the owner
of all that certain property situated in the City of National
City, County of San Diego, State of California, more particu-
larly hereinafter described, and
WHEREAS, the City of National City desires that
said property be dedicated for public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of National City, that the following described
property be and hereby is dedicated for public street purposes:
All that portion of the Easterly 30 feet of the
West Half of the West Half of 10 Acre Lot 6, Quarter Section
152 of the Rancho de la Nacion, in the City of National City,
County of San Diego, State of California, according to the
Map thereof No. 166 by Morrill, filed in the office of the
Recorder of said San Diego County, May 11, 1869, being also
all that portion of the Easterly 30 feet of the Westerly 40
feet of "A" Avenue adjacent to Block 1 of Budd Villa Tract
according to the Map thereof No. 1067, filed in the office
of the Recorder of said San Diego County, June 19, 1907,
said "A" Avenue vacated and closed to public use by Resolu-
tion No. 574 of the Board of Trustees of said City of National
City, December 2, 1919, lying Southerly of the Northerly line
of said 10 Acre Lot 6 and Northerly of the Northerly line of
Thirtieth Street as dedicated by Resolution No.95476 of the
City Council of said National City;
TOGETHER WITH that portion of the Westerly 10 feet of said
"A" Avenue and of Lots 12 and 13 of Block 1 of said Budd
Villa Tract lying Southerly and Easterly of a 20 foot radius
circular arc, concave Northwesterly, which is tangent to the
Westerly line of the Easterly 30 feet of said West Haif of
the West Haif of 10 Acre Lot 6 on the East and tangent to
said Northerly line of said Thirtieth Street on the South.
ALSO, that portion of the Westerly 30 feet of the East Half
of the West Half of said 10 Acre Lot 6, being also the West-
erly 30 feet of the Easterly 40 feet of said "A" Avenue lying
Southerly of the Northerly line of said 10 Acre Lot 6 and
Northerly of the Northerly line of said Thirtieth Street as
dedicated by said Resolution No. 9476 .
TOGETHER WITH that portion of the Easterly 10 feet of said
"A" Avenue and of Lot 9, Block 2 of said Budd Villa Tract,
lying Southerly and Westerly of a 20 foot radius circular
arc, concave Northeasterly, which is tangent to the Easterly
line of the Westerly 30 feet of said East Half of the West
Half of 10 Acre Lot 6 on the West and tangent to the Northerly
line of said Thirtieth Street on the South.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the above described
parcel of land shall henceforth be known as "A" Avenue".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is
hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this resolution to be recorded in the office of the
County Recorder of San Diego County.
