RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE
(20th Street, 24th Street, Valle Vista Avenue,
Granger Avenue, Van Ness Avenue -
Assessment District No. 150)
The City Council of the City of National City
does hereby resolve as follows:
The City Council does hereby determine and
establish that the general prevailing rate of per diem
wage for each type of craft or workman needed to
execute or perform the necessary work and improvement
on 20th STREET, 24th STREET, VALLE VISTA AVENUE,
GRANGER AVENUE, AND VAN NESS AVENUE, ASSESSMENT
DISTRICT NO. 150 is in accordance with Resolution No.
9413 of the City of National City and described as
"RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING GENERAL PREVAILING RATE
SCHEDULE OF PER DIEM WAGES FOR PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACTS",
appended hereto, and said schedule shall be referred to
in the notice inviting sealed bids and all contract
documents in connection with said work and improvements.

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING GENERAL PREVAILING RATE .
SCHEDULE OF PER DIEM WAGES FOR: PUBLIC WOKS CONTRACTS
WHEREAS, a study of the general prevailing rate
of per diem wages and of holiday work, including employer
payments for health and welfare, pension, vacation and
similar purposes, in the City of National City,For each
craft, classification or type of workmen needed to execute
public works contracts for the City of National City, has
been ado, and
WHEREAS, the applicable wage rate established by
collective bargaining agreements and such rates as may have
been predetermined for Federal public works within the local-
ly and in the nearest labor market area have Thereby been
ascertained, and
WHEREAS, where such rates do not constitute the
rates actually prevailing in the locality, further data from
labor organizations and employers ox employer association;
concerned, including the recognized collective bargaining
representatives for the particular craft, ci.a ification or
type of work involved have been considered;
NOW, THEREFORE, PE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of National City as follows
).. That, based upon the reports and recommendations
made to it, the City Council ascertains and determines that.
the prevailing rate for each craft, classification or type
of workmen needed to execute public works contracts for the
City of National City is as hereinafter set forth in Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and made a part hereof;
2. That the City Clerk be, and she is hereby di-
rected to cause to be publisbed such prevailing wage rate
schedule one time in the National City St a News, a news-
paper published twice a week in said City, and of general
circulation;
3. That by relcrence to thi resolution by number,
the City Council nay establish the schedule of prevailing
rate of per diem wages for public works contracts awarded by
the City Council of the City of National City for worIk per-
formed fox e.ch craft, classification, or type of workmen
needed to execute €uch contracts, including contracts awarded
pursuant to special assessment proceeding.; and
4. That until such time as the determination herein
made is superseded by resolution of this Council such prevail-
ing rate Of per die: wage schedule, or co much thereof as is
applicable to the work to be perfor ed under the particular
contract, shall be included as a specification in all City
contracts hereafter awarded.
