HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 9383RESOLUTION NO. 9383 RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO SOUTHLAND INDUSTRIAL PARK, A JOINT VENTURE, FOR SOUTHLAND INDUSTRIAL PARK SUBDIVISION, UNIT NO. 1 WHEREAS, the design of Southland Industrial Park Subdivision, Unit No. 1, has been reviewed by the City Council and the Planning Commission of the City of National City, and WHEREAS, the design of the said Subdivision has been reviewed with flooding problems in mind, and WHEREAS, the design of each building within the subject Subdivision must be prepared by registered Civil Engineers with appropriate flood proof designs, and WHEREAS, a review of each building application for Southland Industrial Park Subdivision, Unit No. 1, would require a repetitious review of identical subject matter which would cause an unnecessary consumption of the public's time; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that a CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT be granted to Southland Industrial Park, a joint venture, for Lots 2,3,4,5,6,7,0,9,10,11,12,13,16,17,18 and 19 of Southland Industrial Park Subdivision, Unit No. 1, subject to the following conditions: 1. No residential structures will be permitted, the zoning requiring commercial, manufacturing or industrial use. 2. All construction will require the filing of an application for a building permit to be approved on an individual basis by the Chief Building Inspector, City Engineer and Planning Director. 3. A reasonable time will be provided after the receipt of an application for a building permit, during which time the Public Works Division of the California State Depart- ment of Highways may act pursuant to state law. 4. Lots 14 and 15 of Southland Industrial Park Subdivision, Unit No. 1, are specifically excluded from this CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT due to their lying within the F-1 designated flood zone. e�.
