RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ORDER
TO VACATE AND CLOSE 25TH STREET BETWEEN "A" AVENUE AND
"B" AVENUE AND THE ALLEY IN BLOCK 2 OF SMITH AND PLANTE'S
SUBDIVISION BETWEEN 25TH STREET AND 26TH STREET
WHEREAS, on October 3, 1967, a hearing was had
pursuant to Resolution No. 9439 to determine whether the fol-
lowing street within the City of National City should be
vacated to wit:
All of Twenty-fifth Street lying between the
Westerly line of the East 10 feet of "A" Avenue, vacated
and closed to public use by Resolution No. 8697 of the
City Council of said National City, and the Westerly line
of "B" Avenue, including that portion of said Twenty-fifth
Street vacated by Judgment and Decree in Condemnation, Case
No. 279, District Court of United States of America Southern
District of California, Southern Division, a certified copy
of said decree having been recorded December 2, 1944 as Doc-
ument No. 90171 in the Office of the County Recorder of San
Diego County.
AND ALSO, all of the Alley in Block 2 of Smith
and Plante's Subdivision of the West Half of 10 Acre Lot 2,
Quarter Section 152, Ranch de la Nacion, according to the
Map thereof No. 1031 filed in the office of the Recorder of
said San Diego County, February 13, 1907, lying between the
Southerly line of Twenty-fifth Street and a line 30 feet
North of the South line of said 10 Acre Lot 2.
WHEREAS, the City Council at said bearing found,
from all evidence submitted, that said street is unnecessary
for present or prospective public street purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved as follows:
1. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are respect-
ively authorized and directed to execute and attest an order
of vacation of the above described street.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to cause a certified copy of subject order to be recorded in
the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, pursuant
to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways Code.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this IOth day of October, 1967.

National City:

cil of said ational City, and the lesterlY line of "3" Avenue,
including that portion of said Twenty-fifth Street vacated by
