HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 9244RESOLUTION NO. 9244 RESOLUTION APPROVING TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAP OF SOUTHLAND INDUSTRIAL PARK UNIT NO. 2 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that all proceedings required by law having been had and the matter being before the Council of the City of National City for action, that the tentative subdivision map of Southland Industrial Park Unit No. 2 is approved sub- ject to the following conditions: 1. The final map shall indicate by appropriate labels, "Approved by the City Engineer"; that the entire subdivision is subject to infrequent inundation; or the final map shall show river and bank improvement and protective measures, the installation of which will prevent river inun- dation and bank errosion from the flood flow crest of the designed project flood described in the report of the Chief of Engineers, Department of Army, entitled "Survey Report for Flood Control, Sweetwater River, San Diego, California" dated November 19, 1965. 2. The developer will be required, prior to the approval of the final map, to design and provide for the in- stallation of fire hydrants of a size and at a location ap- proved by the Fire Chief of National City. 3. Street names as approved by the City of National City must be shown. 4. Blocks longer than 600 feet shall be approved by the City Engineer. 5. Grades less than .5% shall be approved by the City Engineer. 6. Subdivider will provide written permission for concentrating drainage from the San Diego and Arizona Eastern Railroad Company prior to approval of the Final Map. 7. Any area costs and connection fees for sewer capacity in the Metropolitan Sewer System will be borne by the subdivider. 8. All lots will be graded to drain toward the street. 9. Paving requirements will be determined by the City Engineer fronsoil tests to be made by the subdivider. 10. All utility expenses, on or off site, shall be arranged for and paid for by the subdivider. 11. Reports on soil conditions to insure stability of improvements and utilities shall be furnished to the City of National City by the subdivider prior to the installation of any improvements or utilities, the source and scope of the reports will be subject to the approval of the City Engineer. 12. All distribution and communication utility facilities within the boundaries of said subdivision shall be placed underground, unless it is shown such underground in- stallations are unreasonable or impractical because of circum- stances unique to this subdivision.
