RESOLUTION DETERMINING INITIAL VIEW OF LEGISLATIVE BODY
THAT THE PROVISIONS OF DEBT LIMIT ACT WILL NOT BE EXCEEDED
AND DIRECTING MAILING OF NOTICES

WHEREAS, on the 16th day of August, 1966, the City
Council of the City of National City adopted its Resolution
Nb. 9193 , entitled "Preliminary Determination of Legislative
Body Under Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and
Majority Protest Act of 1931", in accordance with Sections 2820,
2821, 2822 and 2823 of the Streets and Highways Code of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED and determined
by the City Council of the City of National City that after
taking the steps provided by said Sections 2820, 2821, 2822 and
2823 of said Code hereinabove referred to, that it is the initial
view of this legislative body that the contemplated improvement
described in said Resolution No. 9193
above referred to is
one in which the probable assessments will not exceed the limita-
tions set up in Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code and
otherwise known as the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limita-
tion and Majority Protest Act of 1931";
That the Clerk of the City of National City, is
hereby directed and ordered to give notice of the contemplated
action of this Council by mailing prepaid post cards giving
notice of the finding and proposed action of the City Council.
Said card shall be mailed to each person to whom land in the
proposed assesment district is assessed on the last equalized
county assessment roll available on the date the notices com-
mence, and his or her address as shown upon such roll and to
any person, whether owner in fee or having a lien upon, or
legal or equitable interest in, any land within the proposed
district who has filed with the clerk his or her name and
address and a designation of the land in which he or she is in-
terested. Said notice shall be in the form provided by Part 7
of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State of California, otherwise known as the "Special Assess-
ment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of
1931".
