RESOLUTION GRANTING COMMERCIAL PLANNED DEVEL0PMENT SIGN
PERMIT PURSUANT lU ORDINANCES NO. 1077 AND 1112
(Norge Laundry and. Cleaning Village)
The City Council of the City of National City does
hereby find, determine, order andresolve as follows:
1. At a regular meeting of the City Planning Com-
mission on July 26, 1965, said Commission unanimously adopted.
a recommendation that the owners of the real property more
fully described. in Exhibit A attached. to Resolution No. 8775
andincorporatedherein by reference, be granted. a Commercial
Planned Development Sign Permit upon the conditions hereinafter
stated.,
2. That the City Council has received. the recommen-
dation of the Planning Commission, and. after full and complete
consideration of said. recommendation hereby grants a Commercial
Planned. Development Sign Permit to permit the Norge Laundry and.
Cleaning Village to install and maintain one 5 by 20 foot (100
square foot) Model SF-520 LCV, flush mounted. identification
sign, depicting Norge, Coin Operated, Self Service Laundry and
Cleaning Village, and. one Asteroid 3-dimensional revolving, 6
foot diameter Globe, (23.5 square feet) model GR-6 sign, de-
picting Norge Village, subject to the following conditions:
a. That all lights and. revolving motion be turned.
off at 11:00 p.m.
b. That detailed. structural plans be submitted.
to the Building Department and. approvedby the Building Inspec-
tor for the issuance of a building permit.
c. Said sign shall be maintained. in a neat and.
safe condition, and be in good. repair at all times.
d. All lights on the signs to be directed. inward.
towards the sign and shielded as to not interfere with the
vision of travelers on the adjacent roadways," or rights of
adjacent property owners.
e. Signs shall not display any blinking, flash-
ing, intermittent or moving lights, or any lights likely to be
mistaken for a warning or danger signal.
f. Said signs shall be attachedto or constructed
on the roof of the building at any place the applicant desires;
however, the six foot diameter globe shall not exceed a six foot
height limit from the roof of the building to the bottom of the
sign.

In the event that the City Council should. at
any time find and determine that the above conditions as set
forth have not been satisfied., it may declare this Permit void.
