RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE
(Prospect Street Improvements,
Assessment District No. 144)
The City Council of the City of National City does
hereby resolve as follows:
The City Council does hereby determine and establish
that the general prevailing rate of per diem wage for each type
of craft or workman needed to execute or perform the necessary
work and improvement on PROSPECT STREET, ASSESSMENT DISTRICT
NO. 144 is in accordance with the schedule appended hereto
and described. as "Schedule of Per Diem Wage Rate' and said
schedule shall be embodied in the notice inviting sealed bids
and all contract documents in connection with said work and.
improvements.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 14th day of September, 1965.

Under the provisions of the California Labor Code, the City Council of the City
of National City has determined the prevailing rate of per diem wages for the locality
to be as follows: (Rates are for an eight (8) hour day unless otherwise specified.)
CLASSIFICATION RATE PER DIEM
LABORERS:
General or Construction
Operators and Tenders of Pneumatic and Electric Tools,
Vibrating Machines and similar Mechanical Tools, not
separately classified herein
Asphalt Raker and Ironer
Fine Grader (Highway and Street Paving only)
Laying of all non-metallic Pipe including Sewer Pipe,
Drain Pipe, and underground tile
Making and caulking of all non-metallic Pipe Joints,
Tarman, Mortarman and Pot Man
OPERATING ENGINEERS:
Concrete or Asphalt Spreading, Tamping or Finishing
Machine Operator
Concrete Mixer Operator - Mobile Mixer
Motor Patrol Operator, including any type of Power Blade
Pavement Breaker Operator
Roller Operator, Compacting
Skip Loader Operator - Wheel Type up to and including 1k yards
Skip Loader Operator - Wheel Type over 1k yards
Tow Blade Operator
Tractor Operator - Bulldozer, Tamper, Scraper or Dragtype
Shovel or similar type
Trenching Machine Operator (Up to 6 foot depth)
TRUCK DRIVERS:
Level Capacity: Less than 8 yards
8 yards but less than 12 yards
12 yards but less than 16 yards
16 yards or more
OT IER TRADES:
Cement Mason
Carpenter
Reinforcing Iron Worker
Journeyman Electrician
ANY CLASSIFICATION OMITTED HEREIN NOT LESS THAN
Overtime shall be one and one-half (13/4) times the above
Holidays shall be one and one-half (1k) times the above rate
shall be considered as eight (8) hours and overtime shall be
