HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 9027RESOLUTION NO. 9027 RESOLUTION GRANTING COMMERCIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PURSUANT 10 ORDINANCE NO. 1077 (Continana Convalescent Center) The City Council of the City of National City does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: 1. At a regular meeting of the City Planning Com- mission on November 6, 1963, said Commission unanimously adopted a recommendation that the owners of the real property more fully described in Engineering Map No. 188-L, on file with the National City Planning Department, 'de granted a Commercial Planned Devel- opment Permit upon the conditions hereinafter stated. 2. That the City Council has received the recommen- dation of the Planning Commission, and after full and complete consideration of said recommendation hereby grants a Commercial Planned. Development Permit upon the following terms and conditions: a. That future buildings be kept in conformance wits the new buildings to be constructed.; that the architectural motif of the first structure be continuous throughout the project. b. That a precise landscaping plan be approved by the City Council, upon recommendation of the Planning Com- mission, prior to installation and issuance of a final inspec- tion by the ;Building Department. c. The area abutting on 24th Street be considered along with the approval of a precise landscape plan. d. All street improvements, including curbs, gutters, sidewalks, driveways, cross gutter, be installed. as approved by the City Engineer. e. Final construction plans be approved by the Chief Building inspector and Fire Department prior to issuance of a building permit. f. The following recommendations of the Fire Department be complied. with: (1) Re -swing corridor doors A-1 and A-2 into lobby No. 100. (2) Exterior door of lobby No. 100 to be enlarged. corridor A-1. (3) Remove door between No. T-19 hall and (4) Oxygen storage, Room 101 - louvered doors not acceptable. Vent and air return through roof okay. 88-1/2" wide. ( All corridor exit doors to be minimum (6) Provide heat detector under hood in kitchen connected. into sprinkler alarm. (7) Hospital roller type latch to be in- stalled on all corridor doors from wards. (8) Interior finish to be of Class 2 Flame Spread Rating. g. Construction on the 99-bed convalescent hos- pital, Phase 1, to be commenced prior to January 31, 1966. h. Construction on the 51-bed addition to the 99-bed convalescent hospital, Phase 2, to be commenced prior to January 31, 1967. i. Completion of Phase 1, 99-bed convalescent hospital, to be nine months from date of commencement. j. In the event that the City Council should at any time find and determine that the above conditions as set forth have not been satisfied, it may declare this Permit void and. of no further effect. PASSED AND ADOPTED this loth day of November, 1965.
