HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8685RESOLUTION NO. 8685 RESOLUTION GRANTING RESIDENTIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 1077 The City Council of the City of National City does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: 1. At a regular meeting of the City Planning Commission on May 27, 1964, after a public hearing duly held and noticed, said Commission unanimously adopted a recommendation that the owners of the real property more fully described in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated by reference, be granted a Residential Planned Development Permit upon the conditions hereinafter stated: 2. That the City Council has received the recommendation of the Planning Commission, and after full and complete consideration of said recommendation hereby grants a Residential Planned Development Permit upon the following terms and conditions: a. • Said development to be constructed in accordance with the plans approved by the City Council on May 19, 1964, No. P. D. 1. b.Entire facility, including high-rise building, garden court and sub- sidiary buildings, shall be constructed simultaneously so that the project as a whole, when construction is completed and all furnishings and equipment is installed, shall be ready for occupancy. Said construction to be completed approximately 18 months from the date of approval of this permit by the City Council. c. Off street parking shall be installed and maintained on the basis of one space for each three units, provided that if and when it is determined by the Planning Commission that additional parking spaces are required, they shall be installed by the owner and/or lessee. d. Euclid Avenue to be dedicated as an 80 foot right of way as shown on the approved plans and fully improved according to City specifications. -1- e. Developers shall file final plans showing landscaping, including exterior recreation areas, walkways and trees located in the parkways, for approval by the City Council upon recommendation of the Planning Commission. After approval of said plans, the landscaping and recreation areas shall be installed and maintained by the owner or lessee of the property. f. Developers, owner and/or lessee shall comply with the recommendations of the Fire Chief of the City of National City as to the installation and maintenance of fire hydrants, fire truck access roads, and availability around all structures for emergency equipment. g. Developers shall comply with the recommendations of the City Manager and City Engineer of the City of National City as to installation and maintenance of sewer facilities. h. The following commercial uses may be constructed and maintained in conjunction with the Residential Planned Development: Restaurant for occupants of the development, but not open to the general public; barber shop; beauty parlor and magazine stand, including greeting cards and stamps. i. In the event that City Council should at any time find and determine that the above conditions as set forth have not been satisfied, it may declare this Permit void and of no further effect. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of June, 1964. ATTEST: -2- All that portion of Quarter Section 106 of the Rancho de la Nacion, in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof by Morrill No. 166 on file in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, described as follows: Commencing at the Northwesterly corner of said Quarter Section 106, in the center of a street 80.00 feet wide; thence North 70° East along the center of said street 660 feet; thence at right angles South 19° East 630 feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence South 19° East 690 feet; thence at right angles South 70 West 495 feet; thence at right $ngles North 190 West 690 feet; thence at right angled North 70 East 495 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Excepting therefrom Plaza Boulevard and property lying South.
