HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8698RESOLUTION NO. 8698 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ORDER OF VACATION FOR PORTIONS OF 26TH STREET BETWEEN NATIONAL AVENUE AND "A" AVENUE WHEREAS, on June 23, 1964; a hearing was had pur- suant to Resolution No. 8661 to determine whether the fol- lowing streets within the City of National City should be vacated to -wit: Parcel 1: A strip of land, 10 feet in width, lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 10, Block 1, Smith and Plantes Subdivision, according to Map there- of No. 1031 on file in the Recorder's office of San Diego County, California. Excepting therefrom: That portion of said parcel lying Southwesterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Northeast and tangent to the Westerly and Southerly lines of said parcel. Parcel 2: A strip of land, 10 feet in width, lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 11, Block 1, of said Smith and Plantes Subdivision. WHEREAS, the City Council at said hearing found, from all evidence submitted, that said streets are unneces- sary for present or prospective public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved as follows: 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are respectively authorized and directed to execute and attest an order of vacation of the above described streets. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and direc- ted to cause a certified copy of subject order to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, pur- suant to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways Code.
