RESOLUTION GRANTING SPECIAL USE rLRMIT
PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 962
The City Council of the City of National City does
hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
1. That a petition requesting a Special Use Permit,
pursuant to the provisons of Section 8, paragraph I,2, has
been submitted to the Planning Commission, and said Commission
at an open hearing has recommended granting said Special Use
Permit upon certain conditions.
2. That the granting of said Special Use Permit,
subject to the conditions hereinafter specified, will, in the
opinion of the City Council, protect the public health, safety
and general welfare.
3. That a Special Use Permit is hereby granted with
reference to all the certain real property situated in the City
of National City, California, more particularly described as
follows:
Known as 1314 W. 24th Street, being an area of ap-
proximately 97,186 square feet of tidelands area in the
City of National City, California more particularly des-
cribed in the legal description and delineated on Draw-
ing No. 931B dated May 15, 1964 on file in the office of
the San Diego Port Authority.
4. That the Special Use Permit hereby granted is
for the operation of a boat yard.
5. That said Special Use Permit is hereby granted
upon the following conditions:
a. No burning shall be conducted on the premises.
b. Any boat or portion of any boat to be des-
troyed or any debris shall not be allowed to accumulate on the
premises.
c. The storage of materials or wastes shall be
prohibited in form or manner that it may be transferred off by
natural causes or force or constitutes a fire or safety
hazard.
d. The storage of an/or use of all materials
which may cause fumes or dust or may be edible or otherwise
attractive to insects and rodents shall be within closed
containers.
e. All applicable provisions of the Fire Code
shall be complied with.
f. All boats or any portion of any boat shall
be removed at the termination of lease with the premises left
free of all debris.
g. All sand blasting or other similar activity
whereby sand, dust, shavings, or any other material or element
may be blown, thrown, or otherwise transmitted onto adjoining
property, shall be conducted within an inclosed structure
equipped with an air pdtLution control device approved by the
San Diego County Air Pollution Control Officer.
h. Applicant shall comply with all applicable
local, county, state and district laws.
6. In the event that the City Council should here-
after find and determine that the conditions above set forth
have not been satisfied or have been violated, it may declare
this Special Use Permit void and of no further effect.
