HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8726RESOLUTION NO, 8726 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF ORDER OF VACATION FOR PORTIONS OF TWENTY-SEVENTH STREET WHEREAS, on July 21, 1964, a hearing was had pur- suant to Resolution No. 8695 to determine whether the fol- lowing streets within the City of National City should be vacated to -wit: That portion of Twenty-seventh Street lying between the prolongation of the Easterly line of Taft Avenue (former- ly Sixth Avenue) and the Northerly prolongation of the Center line of the alley in Block 165, according to the Map of Nation- al City, No. 348, filed in the office of the Recorder of San Diego County, October 2, 1882. WHEREAS, the City Council at said hearing found, from all evidence submitted, that said streets are unneces- sary for present or prospective public street purposes; NOW, THEREFORE, be it hereby resolved as follows: 1. That the Mayor and City Clerk are respectively authorized and directed to execute and attest an order of vacation of the above described streets. 2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and direc- ted to cause a certified copy of subject order to be recorded in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, pur- suant to Section 8324, California Streets and Highways Code.
