HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8775RESOLUTION NO. 8775 RESOLUTION GRANTING COMMERCIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE NO. 1077 The City Council of the City of National City does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: 1. At a regular meeting of the City Planning Com- mission on September 15, 1964, after a public hearing duly held and noticed, said Commission unanimously adopted a recom- mendation that the owners of the real property more fully des- cribed in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated by ref- erence, be granted a Commercial Planned Development Permit upon the conditions hereinafter stated: 2. That the City Council has received the recommen- dation of the Planning Commission, and after full and complete consideration of said recommendation hereby grants a Commercial Planned. Development Permit upon the following terms and condi- tions: a. All signs be constructed in accordance with plans on file with the Planning Department; a zone variance be obtained on the Thrifty Store oversize sign. b. A six-foot fence be constructed so that it will be in no case lower than the elevation of the abutting residential property. c. Location and plans for the area of the Stan- dard Oil Company and future development sites be approved by the City Council upon recommendation of the Planning Commission prior to construction. d. The pylon sign location to maintain a 20-foot setback from Division Street property line since property abuts an R-1 Single Family Residence area to the West. e. Curbs, gutters and sidewalks,to be installed on North Euclid Avenue and Division Street prior to final inspec- tion by the Building Inspector. f. Permit for oversized driveways to be obtained through the City Manager's Office with approval by the City Council. g. Location of driveways to be approved by the Engineering Department. h. Location of outside lights approved subject to all lighting being directed away from residential properties. i. Loading and unloading areas if installed at the rear of the buildings to be installed parallel to the rear of buildings and not diagonal. j. Storage of all materials, supplies or products outside of a permanent structure shall be prohibited. k. Storage of materials or wastes which might cause fumes or dust or which constitute a fire hazard or may be edible by or otherwise attractive to insects or rodents shall be prohibited unless said materials or wastes are stored out- doors in closed containers. 1. Storage of materials or waste upon any portion of the lot in such form or manner that they may be transferred off said lot by natural cause or forces shall be prohibited. m. Structures constructed and maintained for the storage of materials and wastes shall not be constructed adjacent to residential properties, but adjacent to the commercial struc- tures. n. Trees shall be planted within the area between the sidewalk and the property line as approved by the City Tree Forester. o. In the event that the City Council should at any time find and determine that the above conditions as set forth have not been satisfied, it may declare this Permit void and of no further effect.
