HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8808RESOLUTION ND. 8808 RESOLUTION GRANTING COMMERCIAL PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PERMIT PURSUANT TO ORDINANCE N0, 1077 The City Council of the City of National City does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows: 1. At a regular meeting of the City Planning Com- mission on October 28, 1964, said Commission unanimously adopted a recommendation that the owners of the real property more fully described in Map No. PD-4, on file with the Nation- al City Planning Department, be granted a Commercial Planned Development Permit upon the conditions hereinafter stated. 2. That the City Council has received the recom- mendation of the Planning Commission, and after full and com- plete consideration of said recommendation hereby grants a Commercial Planned Development Permit upon the following terms and conditions: a. One (1) 15 pound 0002, or one (1) 6BC units dry chemical extinguishers to be installed adjacent to pump islands. b. One (1) 2 1/2 gallon water air pressure extinguisher to be installed in office area. c. Remote electrical shut-off switches to be installed within twenty (20) feet of pumps; one to be instal- led on southwest corner of building, and one to be installed on the east side of building in line with pump islands. d. Vents to be 18 inches above roof line, or 12 feet above surface of paving, whichever is more; no 90 degree bends to be in supply piping or vents. Swing joints accepted. e. All electrical switches, outlets, heating equipment, motors, compressors, etc., if within five (5) feet of floor level, to be explosion -proof protected. f. No electrical connections, or spark - producing devices, within six (6) feet of vents. g. Permits for installation of tanks and piping to be obtained from National City Fire Department. h. Main Fin Sign be approved as a combination advertising and identification sign. i. Main Fin Sign Setback be 20 feet due to the height being in excess of the 25-foot requirement or a variance be secured for same. j. Variance be obtained for erection of the Standard Hallmark sign prior to such sign being erected. k. Storage of all materials or wastes which might cause fumes or dust or which might constitute a fire hazard or be edible or otherwise attractive to insects or rodents shall be prohibited unless materials or wastes are stored outdoors in closed containers. 1. Storage of materials, supplies or products out- side of a permanent structure shall be prohibited. m. Storage of materials or wastes upon any portion of the lot in such form or manner that they may be transferred off said lot by natural causes or forces shall be prohibited. n. Tree planting to be between curb and sidewalk and that trees required be approved by the City Tree Forester. o. Curbs and sidewalks not to be contiguous. p. Permit for oversize driveways be obtained from the City Manager's office with the approval of the City Council. q. Location of the driveways be approved by the City Engineering Department. r. Location of outside lighting be approved sub- ject to all lighting being directed away from residential property and streets. s. In the event that the City Council should at any time find and determine that the above conditions as set forth have not been satisfied, it may declare this Permit void and of no further effect.
