HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8620RESOLUTION NO. 8620 RESOLUTION DEDICATING STREET (Coolidge Avenue South of Thirtieth Street) BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California as follows: That all that certain real property more particularly described below be and is hereby dedicated for street purposes: All that portion of Bahia Vista in the City of National City, Councy of San Diego, State of California, according to the Map thereof No. 1815, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, December 19, 1924 and of Thirtieth Street as vacated and closed to public use, described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 150 of said Bahia Vista; thence South 18° 35' East along the Westerly line of National Avenue as shown on said Map a distance of 289.78 feet to the Southerly line of Thirtieth Street and its Easterly prolongation as dedicated by Resolution No. 8110 of the City of National City; thence at right angles South 71° 25' West along said Southerly line of Thirtieth Street and it Easter- ly prolongation 890.54 feet to the beginning of a tan- gent 40.00 foot radius curve concave Southeasterly and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence Southerly along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 90 degrees a distance of 62.83 feet; thence tangent to said curve South 18° 35' East a distance of 335.58 feet to the Southerly boundary of that portion of said Bahia Vista conveyed to the City of National City by deed dated September 24, 1954 and recorded in Book 5410 at page 330 of Official Records of said County; thence South 73° 14' West along said Southerly boundary 46.23 feet to an angle point therein; thence continuing along said Southerly boundary North 67° 08' West a distance of 45.08 feet to the South Easterly corner of that parcel of land conveyed to Emil E. Beatty, a married man, by deed dated August 14, 1963 and recorded in the office of the County Recorder of said County as Document No. 148667 in Series 4, Book 1963; thence leaving said Southerly boundary along the Easterly line of said Beatty land North 18° 35' West a distance of 304.28 feet to the beginning of a 40.00 foot radius curve con- cave Southwesterly; thence along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 90 degrees a distance of 62.83 feet; thence tangent to said curve North 71° 25' East a distance of 160.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. That the name Coolidge Avenue be and hereby is given to those portions of said above described real property which may be applicable as shown on drawing number 925-L dated August 8, 196 3 of the City of National City Engineering Department entitled "Property Exchange City of National City in the Bahia Vista Industrial Area". XERO CORY Ado:), 063% AoOD oa_x RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF BAHIA VISTA DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED On motion duly made, seconded, and unanimously carried, the follow- ing resolution was adopted: It is hereby resolved by the Board of Directors of Bahia Vista Development Corporation, a California corporation, that Clinton D. Matthews, as president, and Bertha M. Wright, as secretary of this cor- poration, are hereby authorized to execute and deliver in the name and behalf of this corporation that certain deed, No. 897, by Bahia Vista Development Corporation, a California corporation, to The City of National City, a munici- pal corporation, a copy of which is attached hereto, and by this reference in- corporated herein. I, Bertha M.
