HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8661RESOLUTION NO. 8661 A RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND CLOSE PORTIONS OF 26TH STREET BETWEEN NATIONAL AVENUE AND "A" AVENUE The City Council of the City of National City does resolve as follows: 1. The City Council of the City of National City, California, hereby declares its intention to vacate and close, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, those portionsof 26th Street described as: Parcel 1: A strip of land, 10 feet in width, lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 10, Block 1, Smith and Plantes Subdivision, according to Map there- of No. 1031 on file in the Recorder's office of San Diego County, California. Excepting therefrom: That portion of said parcel lying Southwesterly of a 10 foot radius curve, concave to the Northeast and tangent to the Westerly and Southerly lines of said parcel. Parcel 2: A strip of land, 10 feet in width, lying adjacent to and parallel with the Southerly line of Lot 11, Block 1, of said Smith and Plantes Subdivision. 2. Time for hearing any and all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for 8:00 p.m., June 23, 1964, in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of National City, California. 3. Particulars as to the proposed vacation are set forth in that certain map on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of National City entitled "Drawing Number S.C. 14 P.C. of the City of National City Planning Department," 4. The City Engineer of the City of National City, California, is hereby directed to post notice of the passage of this Resolution and the time and place of hearing in accor- dance with law.
