HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8377RESOLUTION NO. 877 APPROVING THE COMPLETED PLANNING DOCUMENTS PREPARED WITH AN ADVANCE FROM THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA UNDER THE TERMS OF PUBLIC LAW 560, 83RD CONGRESS OF THE UNITED STATES, AS AMENDED WHEREAS, the City of National City accepted an offer from the United States Government for an advance for preparation of planning documents pertaining to a public work described as Civic Center Building; and WHEREAS, Freeland and Bird was engaged to prepare the planning documents for the aforesaid public work, and said architect has completed documents and submitted them for ap- proval; and WHEREAS, the completed planning documents have been carefully studied and are considered to comprise adequate plan- ning of the public work essential to the community and within the financial ability of the City of •National City to construct; NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of National City the governing body of said applicant, that the planning documents submitted by Freeland and Bird as the basis for detailed planning of the Civic Center Building dated May 3, 1963, and the statements in Form CFA-430, Request for Review and Approval of Planning Documents, in connection with Housing and Home Finance Agency Project No. P-Calif-3598 be and the same are hereby approved; and that certified copies of this resolution be filed with the Housing and Home Finance Agency. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 1963. ATTEST: 1, the undersigned, the duly qualified and acting City Clerk of the City of National City (herein called the "applicant") and the keeper of the records of the applicant, including the Journal of Proceedings of the City Council of the City of National City (herein called the "governing body") do hereby certify: 1. That the attached resolution is a true and correct copy of the resolution as finally adopted at a meet- ing of the governing body on the 7th day of May, 1963, and duly recorded in my office; 2. That said meeting was duly convened and held in all respects in accordance with law and to the extent re- quired by Iaw due and proper notice of such meeting was given; that a legal quorum was present throughout the meeting, and a legally sufficient number of members of the governing body voted in the proper manner and for the adoption of said reso- lution; that all other requirements and proceedings under the law incident to the proper adoption or passage of said resolu- tion, including publication, if required, have been duly ful- filled, carried out, and otherwise observed; and that I am authorized to execute this certificate; IN WITNESS WHEREOF, 1 have hereunto set my hand this th day of May, 1963.
