RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ASSESSMENT
(Plaza Boulevard Sta. 17+01.99 to Williams Manor,
Unit No. 4)
WHEREAS, HAROLD C. FOSTER, acting as Superintendent
of Streets of the City of National City, California, has here-
tofore filed in the office of the City Clerk of National City
an assessment and diagram for that certain street improvement
work in said City done under and pursuant to the Improvement
Act of 1911, Division 7 of the Streets and Highways Code of the
State: of California, and Resolution of Intention No. 8209 adopt-
ed by this City Council on the 18th day of October, 1962; and
WHEREAS, after the filing of said assessment and
diagram the City Clerk has, as required by law, given notice
of the filing of said assessment and of the time fixed in said
notice for hearing by this City Council, and affidavits of
publication, posting and mailing of such notice have been made
and are on file in the office of the City Clerk; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed in such notice
a hearing was duly held by this City Council at which all
written appeals, protests or objections, if any, were duly
presented and read, and all persons desiring to be heard
thereon were heard, and this City Council gave all persons
present an opportunity to be heard in respect to any matter
relating to said work or improvement, to any act or determina-
tion of the Superintendent of Streets or the Engineer of Work
of National City in relation thereto, to the contract for said
work or the performance of said contract, to the correctness
of said assessment or said diagram, or to any other act, deter-
mination or proceedings of said Superintendent of Streets or
said Engineer of Work, or to any matter relating to said work,
the assessment district or the proceedings therefor; and
WHEREAS, all such persons desiring to be heard have
been ;heard by this City Council, and this City Council is
fully informed in the premises;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
National City, California, DOES HEREBY FIND, RESOLVE, DETER-
MINE AND ORDER, as fo I lows:
That said hearing has been duly held; that each
and every step in the proceeding prior to and including the
hearing has been duly and regularly taken; that this City
Council is satisfied with the correctness of the assessment,
the ciagram, the proceedings and all matters relating thereto,
and all protests, objections or appeals be and the same are
hereby overruled and denied, and this City Council does hereby
confirm said proceedings and said assessment.
