RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DES-
CRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "CONNER ANNEXATION", AND GIVING
NOTICE OF.TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS
THERETO
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City as follows:
1. That a petition has been filed with this City
Council requesting annexation to the City of National City of
all that uninhabited territory situated in the County of San
Diego, State of California, which is hereby designated "CONNER
ANNEXATION", and is more particularly described as follows:
All those portions of Lot 5 and Grove Street as
shown on Map No. 1740 of Lincoln Acres filed in the Recorder's
Office in the County of San Diego, State of California, lying
within the following described boundary line:
Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of Grove
Street at a corner common to Lot 5, and Lot 6, of said Lincoln
Acres; thence South 19° 57' East along said Westerly line of Grove
Street 5.5 feet to the beginning of a curve to the right having
a radius of 200 feet; thence Southeasterly along said curve
through a central angle of 27° 05' a distance of 94.54 feet to
the Trae Point of Beginning;
1. Thence North 82° 54' West to the West line of
said Lot 5, also the Boundary of the City of National City;
2. Thence Southerly along the said Boundary of the
City o" National City to the Southerly line of said Grove Street;
3. Thence leaving the said Boundary of National City
Northerly along the said Southerly line of Grove Street to a
point bearing South 82° 54' East from the True Point of Beginning;
4. Thence North 82° 54' West to the True Point of
Beginning.
2. That on November 5, 1963 , at the hour of 2:00 p.m.
in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of National
City, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and
where any person owning real property within the uninhabited
territory above described and proposed to be annexed to the
City of National City, and having any objections to the pro-
posed annexation, may appear before the Council of the City
of National City and show cause why such uninhabited territory
should not be so annexed to the City of National City. The
protest must be in writing, may be filed at any time before
the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation,
and shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of
property affected and the description and area of such property,
in general terms.
3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to take the steps set forth in Resolution No. 8088 of this City
Council with reference to this proposed annexation._
