RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION
TO THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DES-
CRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "WISE ANNEXATION", AND GIVING
NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS
THERETO
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City as follows:
1. That a petition has been filed with this City
Council requesting annexation to the City of National City of
all that uninhabited territory situated in the County of San
Diego, State of California, which is hereby designated "WISE
ANNEXATION", and is more particularly described as follows:
That portion of the Northwesterly Quarter of Quarter
Section 109 of the Rancho de la Nacion, in the County of San
Diego, State of California, according to the Map thereof No.
166, made by ivorr i l l , filed in the Office of the Recorder of
San Diego County described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the Northerly jine
of River Road with the Westerly line of said Quarter Section
109; thence Northerly along said Westerly line of Quarter
Section 109, 222.07 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
I. Thence North 71° 33' 30" East, 70 feet;
2. Thence North 18° 26' 30" West to an intersection
with the Southerly line of Road Survey 558, also the Boundary
of the City of National City.
3. Thence Northwesterly along said Boundary to the
aforesaid Westerly line of Quarter Section 109;
4. Thence Southeasterly along said Westerly line to
the True Point of Beginning.
2. That on November 5, 1963 , at the hour
of 2:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the
City of National City, California, is hereby fixed as the time
and place when and where any person owning real property within
the uninhabited territory above described and proposed to be
annexed to the City of National City, and having any objections
to the proposed annexation, may appear before the Council of
the City of National City and show cause why such uninhabited
territory should not be so annexed to the City of National
City. The protest must be in writing, may be filed at any
time before the hour set for hearing objections to the pro-
posed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the
owner or owners of property affected and the description and
area of such property, in general terms.
3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to take the steps set forth in Resolution No. 8088 of this
City Council with reference to this proposed annexation.
