RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE
("J" Avenue from 18th Street to 24th Street, "K" Avenue from
2ist Street to 24th Street, 21st Street from Highland Avenue
to "L" Avenue, 23rd Street from "I" Avenue to "L" Avenue)
The City Council of the City of National City does
hereby resolve as follows:
The City Council does hereby determine and establish
that the general prevailing rate of per diem wage for each type
of craft or workman needed to execute or perform the necessary
work and improvement on "J" AVENUE FROM 18TH STREET TO 24TH
STREET, "K" AVENUE FROM 21ST STREET TO 24TH STREET, 21ST STREET
FROM HIGHLAND AVENUE TO "L" AVENUE, 23RD STREET FROM "I" AVENUE
TO "L" AVENUE is in accordance with the schedule appended here-
to and described as "Schedule of Per Diem Wage Rate" and said
schedule shall be embodied in the notice inviting sealed bids
and all contract documents in connection with said work and
improvements.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of November, 1963.

Under the provisions of the California Labor Code, the City Council of the
City of National City has determined the prevailing rate of per diem wages for
the locality to be as follows: (Rates are for an eight (8) hour day unless
otherwise specified.)

ANY CLASSIFICATION OMITTED HEREIN NOT LESS THAN
Overtime shall be one and one-half (1 1/2) times the above rate. Sundays
and Holidays shall be one and one-half (1 1/2) times the above rate. The
Standard day shall be considered as eight (8) hours and overtime shall be paid
for any time in excess of this amount.
