HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8290RESOLUTION NO. 8290 A RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VACATE AND CLOSE COOLIDGE.AVENUE.BETWEEN 20TH STREET AND 22ND STREET, 2IST STREET BETWEEN HARDING AVENUE AND HOOVER AVENUE, AND THE ALLEYS IN BLOCKS 85, 86, 107 AND 108 The City Council of the City of National City does ordail as follows: SECTION I: The City Council of the City of National City, California, hereby declares its intention to vacate and close, pursuant to the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code of California, the following des- cribed portions of its public streets: That portion of Coolidge Avenue (formerly Third Avenue) between the Southerly line of 20th Street and the Northerly line of 221d Street, 21st Street between the Easterly line of Harding Avenue (formerly Fourth Avenue) to the Westerly line of Hoover Avenue (formerly Second Avenue), and also the alleys in Blocks 85, 85, 107 and 108, all according to Map No. 348 filed in the Office of the County Recorder of San Diego County. SECTION 2: Time for hearing any and all persons in- terested in or objecting to the proposed vacation is hereby set for 1 - p.m., March 5, 1963, in the City Council Chambers in the City Hail, in the City of National City, California. SECTION 3: Particulars as to the proposed vacation are sit forth in that certain map on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of National City entitled "Drawing Num- ber P. 3 P.C. of the City of National City Planning Department." SECTION 4: The City Engineer of the City of National City, California, is hereby directed to post notice of the pas- sage of this Resolution and the time and place of hearing in accordance with law.
