RESOLUTION ORDERING “ORK

UNIT NO. 4)
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of October, 1962, the City
Council of the City of National City passed its Resolution of
Intention No. 8209 to order certain work to be done and improve-
ments to be made on Plaza Boulevard Sta. 17+01.99 to Williams
Manor, Unit No. 4 pursuant to the provisions of the "Improve-
ment Act of 1911, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution of Intention was duly pub-
lished, and notice of its adoption was duly posted and mailed,
all in the time, form and manner as required by law, and
WHEREAS, this City Council had duly received and con-
sidered evidence oral and documentary concerning the jurisdictional
facts in this proceeding and concerning the necessity for the
contemplated work and improvement and the benefits to be derived
theref:-om, and said City Council has now acquired jurisdiction
to order the proposed improvement.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of National
City, California, does hereby resolve, determine and order as
follows:
1. That the public interest and convenience require
the said improvement and the City Council hereby orders that the
work and improvement, as set forth and described in said Res-
olution of Intention No. 8209 adopted on the 18th day of October,
1962, and in the plans and specifications therein referred to, be
done ard made, and that all protests against said work or im-
provement, if any, be and hereby are overruled.
2. That the boundaries of the assessment district,
and the grades to which said work and improvements are to be
constricted, shall be those set forth and described in said
Resolution of Intention No. 8209, and in the plans and specifications
thereii referred to, reference to which is hereby made for all
further particulars.
3. That the time hereby fixed for receiving sealed
proposals or bids for the doing of said work and making
said Improvements herein ordered is the 12f day of

to give notice inviting such sealed bids in the time, form and
manner provided by law. All. proposals or bids shall be delivered
to the City Clerk are. shall be opened, and examined and declared
by sail City Clerk at a public meeting in the City Clerk's office
in. the City Eall of National City, California, at the time and
date Ee7oresaid; and said City Clerk shall report the results
of the bidding to the City Council at the next regular meeting
after the opening of the bids.
