NOTICE .OF.TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of National City as follows: Section 1. That a petition has been filed with the City Council of the City of National City requesting annexation to the City of National City of all that uninhabited territory situated in the County of San Diego, State of California, which is hereby designated "MONTGOMERY ANNEXATION', and is more par- ticularly described as follows: That portion of Lot 543 of Lincoln Acres Annex No. 4, in the County of San Diego, State of California, according to Map thereof No. 1763, filed in the office of the County Recorder of said San Diego County, August 9, 1923, described as follows: Beginning at a point in the 50.00 foot radius curve in the Northerly line of said Lot 543, distant thereon 8.00 feet southwesterly (through an angle of 9° 10') from the most Northerly corner of said Lot 543, said point being the Northwesterly terminus of a straight line extending Northwesterly from the Northeasterly corner of said Lot 543; thence South 54° 36' East along said straight line to a point in a line which is parallel with and 50.00 feet Easterly at right angles from the Westerly Tine of said Lot 543; said point being the True Point of Beginning; 1. Thence South 6° 09' West along said parallel line to a point in a line which is parallel with and Southwesterly 15.00 feet measured at right angles from said straight line extending Northwesterly from said Northeasterly corner of said Lot 543; 2. Thence South 54° 36' East along said parallel line to a point in a line which is parallel with and 90.00 feet Easterly from, measured at right angles, said Westerly line of said Lot 543; 3. Thence South 6° 09' West along said parallel line a distance of 100.00 feet; 4. Thence at right angles North 83° 51' West 6.00 feet; 5. Thence South 6° 09' West parallel with said Westerly line of said lot to a point in the Southerly line of said Lot; 6. Thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said Lot to a point which is 68.50 feet Westerly from the Southeasterly corner of said Lot 543, measured along the Southerly line of said Lot; 7. Thence North 0° 40' East 91.73 feet; 8. Thence South 63° 15' East 92.96 feet to a point in the Southeasterly line of said Lot 543, distant thereon North 17° 25' East, 52.00 feet from the Southeasterly corner of said Lot; 9. Thence North I7° 25' East along said Southeasterly line 47.02 feet to the Northeasterly corner of said Lot; 10. Thence North 52° 41' 00" West 237.73 feet along the Southwesterly line of Lot 542 of said Lincoln Acres Annex No. 4 to the Southwesterly corner of said Lot 542, being also the most Northerly corner of said Lot 543; II. Thence Southwesterly 8.00 feet along a 50 foot radius curve in the Northerly line of said Lot 543 to the Point of Beginning. Section 2. That Tuesday, November 27, 1962, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of National City, California; is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory above described and proposed to be annexed to the City of National City, and having any objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the Council of the City of National City and show cause why such uninhabited territory should not be so annexed to the City of National City. The protest must be in writing, may be filed at any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of property affected and the description and area of such property, in general terms. Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and direc- ted to take the steps set forth in Resolution No. 8088 of this City Council with reference to this proposed annexation. Written request having been received from the National School District and the Chula Vista School District pursuant to California Govern- ment Code Section 35305, the City Clerk is further authorized and directed to transmit to the Governing Board of each such school district a copy of this resolution.
