RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE SCALE
(Plaza Boulevard Sta. 17t 01.99 to Williams Manor,
Unit No. 4)
The City Council of the City of National City does hereby
resolve as follows:
The City Council does hereby determine and establish that
the general prevailing rate of per diem wage for each type of craft or
workman needed to execute or perform the necessary work and improvement
on Plaza Boulevard Sta. 17 + 01.99 to Williams Manor, Unit No. 4. is in
accordance with the schedule appended hereto and described as "Schedule
of Per Diem Wage Rate" and said schedule shall be embodied in the
notice inviting sealed bids and all contract documents in connection with
said work and improvements.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this ]d` day of October, 1962.

Under the provisions of the California Labor Code, the City Council of the City
of Nit4ona1 City has determined the prevailing rate ofper diem wages of-thelocalitY
to be as follows. Rates are for eight (8) hour day unless otherwise specified:
CLASSIFICATION
LABORERS:
General or Construction
Operators and Tenders of Pneumatic and Electric Tools,
Vibrating Machines and similar Mechanical Tools not
separately classified herein
Asphalt Raker and Ironer
Fine Grader (Highway and Street Paving Only)
Pipe Layer
OPERATING ENGINEERS:
Engineer, including Oiler and Signalman
Concrete or Asphalt Spreading, Tamping or Finishing
Machine Operator
Concrete Mixer Operator - Mobile Mixer
Motor Patrol. Operator, including any type of power blade
Pavement Breaker Operator
Roller Operator - Compactor, Wobbly
Skip Loader Operator - Wheel Type 3/4 yds. and up
Tow Blade or Grader Operator
Tractor Operator - Bulldozer, Tamper, Scraper or Dragtype
Shovel or similar type
Universal Equipment Operator (Shovel, Dragline, Derrick,
Derrick -Barge, Clamshell, Crane -or Pile Driver)
TRUCK DRIVERS:
Drivers of Trucks, legal payload capacity less than 8 yds.
Drivers of Trucks legal payload capacity between 8 yds. but
leas than 12 yds.
Drivers of Trucks, legal payload capacity 12 yds. but less
than 16 yds.

Overtime shall be one and one-half (1 1/2) times the abave rate.
Sundays and Holidays shall be one and one-half (1 1/2) times the above rate.
The standard day shall be considered as eight (8) hours and overtime shall
be paid for any time in excess of this amount.
The successful Bidder shall comply with all applicable laws.
No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of thirty (30) days after
• the date set for opening of bids.
