RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PURCEASE OF
PROPERTY AND EXECUTION OF ALL REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
NationalNatior4a1 City as follows:
That the City of National City be and hereby is
authorized to purchase that certain real property known as
the Barber property, a full description is attached as Exhibit
"A", and that the Mayor and the City Clerk be authorized to
execute all documents required for the purchase of said
property, including execution of all docurnents in Escrow,
and that they be further authorized to execute the proper
grants or checks required for the purchase price of said property
and all escrow and other charges,
That the acquisition of said property is necessary
for the improvement of Plaza Boulevard pursuant to the present
1911 Act proceedings.
PASSED AND ADOPTED thisth day of November, 1962.

DESCRIPTION
A portion of 80 Acre Lot 2 in Quarter Section 129 Rancho de la Nacion,
in the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California,
according to Map thereof No. 166 by Morrill filed in the office of the
County Recorder May 11, 1869 described as follows:
Beginning at a point 100 feet Northerly, measured along the Easterly
line from the Southeast Corner of the North half of the Northwest Quarter
of the East half of 80 Acre Lot 2 in Quarter Section 129 of Rancho de la
Nacion; thence South 71' 15' 04" West 91.26 feet; thence North 44' 49'
12" East 55.38 feet; thence North 51' 52' 02" East 44.40 feet; thence
South 18° 25' 35" East 39.39 feet to the point of beginning.
