HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 8106RESOLUTION NO. 8106 RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "LISCHEID ANNEXATION," AND GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING.OF PROTESTS THERETO. Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of National City as follows: 1. That a petition has been filed with the City Council of the City of National City requesting annexation to the City of National City of all that uninhabited territory situated in the County of San Diego, State of California, which is hereby designated "LISCHEID ANNEXATION," and is more particularly des- cribed as follows: Beginning at a point on the Northerly line of 30th Street being also the boundary line of National City said point being formed by the intersection of the Northerly prolongation of the center line of Avenue "C" as shown on Copelands Subdivision according to Map thereof No. 978 filed in the office of the County Recorder of San Diego County, California, March 19, 1906. 1. Thence Southerly along said Northerly prolongation and along the centerline of Avenue "C" 370 feet more or less to the Southerly line of the 40 foot Street 31st Street; Z. Thence Westerly along the Southerly line of 31st Street 175 feet, more or less, to a point of intersection with the Southerly prolongation of the Mesterly line of the Alley in Block 3 of said Copelands Subdivision. 3. Thence Northerly along said Southerly prolongation and along the Westerly line 3f said Alley in Block 3 and the Northerly prolongation thereof 370 feet more or less to a point in the Northerly line of 30th Street, being also in the boundary line of National City; 4. Thence Easterly along the said boundary line of National City 175 feet more or less to the point of beginning. 2. That Tuesday, Mary 15, 1962, at the hour of 2:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of National City, California, is hereby fixed as the time and place when and where any person owning real property within the uninhabited territory above described and proposed to be annexed to the City of National City, and having any objections to the proposed annexation, may appear before the Council of the City of National City and show cause why such uninhabited territory should not be so annexed to the City of National City. The protest must be in writing, may be filed at any time before the hour set for hearing objections to the proposed annexation, and shall state the name or names of the owner or owners of property affected and the description and area of such property, in general terms. 3. The City"is he eby authorized and directed to take the steps set forth in Resolution No. 8088 of this City Council with reference to this proposed annexation.
