PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION OF LEGISLATIVE BODY
UNDER "SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMITATION
AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931"
(PLAZA BOULEVARD STA. 17+01.99 TO WILLIAMS MANOR, UNIT NO. 4)
The City Council of the City of National City does hereby resolve as
follows:
That certain improvements are proposed to be done and made within the
boundaries of the proposed assessment district hereinafter described in the
City of National City, California. In connection therewith said City
Countil hereby finds and determines as follows:
(1) The nature of the proposed improvements consists of the grading
of portions of streets, the preparation of subgrade and the paving of
portions of streets, the construction of standard Type "G" Curb, the
construction of concrete Cross Gutters and the installation of drainage
facilities.
(2) The location and extent of the proposed improvements will involve
the construction of the described improvements upon the following described
public streets and public ways within the boundaries of the proposed assess-
ment district hereinafter described, to wit: PLAZA BOULEVARD STA. 17+01.99
TO WILLIAMS MANOR, UNIT #4.
(3) The boundaries of the district of lands proposed to be specially
assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said proposed work and improvement
are as shown upon a plat on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City
of National City, which said map indicates by a boundary line the territory
to be included in the proposed assessment district, and which said map or
plat governs for all details as to the extent of the district; said map or
plat is designated"PLAT OF PLAZA BOULEVARD STA. 17401.99 TO WILLIAMS MANOR,
UNIT NO. 4 MAP 3550, ALL IN NATIONAL CITY, CALIFORNIA".
(4) The City hashIdErted the sum of $41,247.40 from its funds for this
project, and said sum represents 30.80% of the estimated cost of said work.
The City hereby agrees to pay a sum equal to said 30.80% of the actual cost
of said work, or the sum of $41,247.50, whichever is the lesser, as a
contribution towards the cost of said work. The entire remaining cost of
said proposee improvements shall be assessed against the benefited property.
(5) The statute under which it is proposed to conduct
proceedings for the said work is the Improvement Act of 1911 of
the State of California, with Improvement Bonds to be issued as
authorized under the provisions of said act.
(6) The proposed.work to be done is described upon
the plans and specifications which are on file with the City
Clerk of the City of National City, and said plans and speci-
fications are hereby referred to for all particulars relative
thereto and are open to inspection by anyone interested.
