RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF NATIONAL CITY OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESCRIBED
HEREIN AND DESIGNATED "TEFT-SEDLACK ANNEXATION," AND
GIVING NOTICE OF TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING OF PROTESTS THERETO
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY:
1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of
Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939, a petition signed by owners of not
less than one-fourth of the land in the hereinafter described terri-
tory by area and by assessed value, as shown on the last equalized
assessment roll of the County of San Diego, has been filed with the
Council of the City of National City requesting annexation of the
hereinafter described territory to said City.
2. That the territory which the petitioners request be annexed
to the City of National City and which said City and its Council
propose to annex, is situated in the County of San Diego, State of
California, is hereby designated "TEFT-SEDLACK ANNEXATION," and
described as follows:
All that certain property lying within the County of San Diego, State
of California, more fully described as follows:
1. Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 435, Lincoln Acres An—
nexation.No. 3, according to Map thereof No. 1754 on file in
San Diego County Recorder's Office;
2. Thence Southerly 218.50 feet along the East line of said lot
to the Southeast corner thereof;
3. Thence Westerly along the South line of said lot to the South—
west corner thereof;
4. Thence Northerly 205.5 feet along the West line of said Lot 435
to the South line of 24th Street as shown on said Map No. 1754;
5. Thence Westerly along said South line to the Northeast corner
of Lot 437 of said Lincoln Acres No. 3;
6. Thence Southerly 184.98 feet along the East line of said Lot 437
to the Southeast corner thereof;
7. Thence Westerly 63.6 feet along the South line of said Lot 437
to the West line thereof;
8. Thence Northerly 161.18 feet along said West line to the South
line of said 24th Street;
9. Thence westerly along said South line to the West line of Quarter
Section 108 of the Rancho de la Nacion according to Map thereof
No. 166 on file in the Recorder's Office of said County;
10. Thence Northerly 30 feet along said West line to the North line
of said Quarter Section 108;
11. Thence Easterly along said North line to a line which bears
North 19°13' West from the most Westerly corner of "Right of
Way Tract F" as shown on said Map No. 1754;
12. Thence South 19°13' East 30 feet to said Westerly corner and the
South line of said 24th Street;
13. Thence Westerly along said South line to the point of beginning.

3. That the County Boundary Commission of San Diego County,
California, did consider the proposed annexation boundaries of said
"TEFT-SEDLACK ANNEXATION" as above described, and as submitted to
said Commission by the proponents of said annexation.
4. That Tuesday, March 7, 1961, at the hour of 2:00 p.m., in
the Council Chambers in the City Hall in the City of National City,
County of San Diego, California, is hereby fixed as the time and
place when and where any person owning real property within the unin-
habited territory above described and proposed to be annexed to the
City of National City, and having any objections to the proposed
annexation, may appear before the Council of the City of National
City and show cause why such uninhabited territory should not be so
annexed to the City of National City. The protest must be in writing,
may be filed at any time before the hour set for hearing objections
to the proposed annexation, and shall state the name or names of
the owner or owners of property affected and the description and area
of such property, in general terms.
5. The City Clerk of the City of National City is hereby authorized
and directed to cause a copy of this resolution to be published at least
twice, but not oftener than once a week, in The National City Star News,
said publication to be complete at leasttwenty (20) days prior to the
date set for hearing.
6. The City Clerk is further directed to cause written notice of
such proposed annexation to be mailed to the governing body of any
county fire protection district, which includes any portion of said
property in its boundaries, such notice to be sent not less than ten
(10) days before the first public hearing upon such proposed annexa-
tion, and to cause written notice to be given to such other persons as
may be legally entitled thereto, in the manner required by law.
