RESOLUTION APPROVING ENGINEER'S REPORT AND FIXING HEARING DATE
(Hoover Avenue from 13th Street to 18th Street)
The City Council of the City of National City does hereby
resolve as follows:
That the Engineer's Report on the proposed improvement of
Hoover Avenue from 13th Street to 18th Street be and hereby is
approved.
That a hearing on the report of the City Engineer regarding
said proposed improvement shall be held by the City Manager and
the City Engineer on the 2nd day of May, 1960, at the hour of
8:00 o'clock p.m. in the City Council Chambers, in the City Hall,
National City, California.
That before the 31st day of March, 1960, the City Clerk
shall give notice of said hearing by mailing a copy of the notice,
postage prepaid, to all persons owning real property which is
proposed to be assessed to pay any part of the cost of the work,
and whose names and addresses appear on the last equalized County
Assessment Roll, at their address as shown upon such Roll or as
known to the Clerk.
That at the hearing protests may be made orally or in
writing by any person who would be entitled to protest or object
to the ordering of the things proposed to be done at a hearing on
the Resolution of Intention. Alt written protests must be filed
with the City Clerk at or before the time fixed for the hearing.
Any protest relating to the regularity or sufficiency of the pro-
ceedings shall be in writing and shall clearly set forth the
irregularity or defect to which objection is made.
