RESOLUTION GRANTING SPECIAL ZONE VARIANCE
RESOLUTION No. 763E
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of National City as follows:
That e special zone variance permit be granted to Sedgwl Ck Fraser
constructing a shopping center.
Said property Xsxdescribed7GOGi5tlX in Notice of Use District Hearing dated
the 29th day of September, 1959, a copy of which is hereto
attached and by reference is made a part hereof.
That said permit is granted upon the conditions and recommendations of the City Planning Commis-
sion as hereinafter set forth:
Sidewalks and curbs pursuant to National City standard specifications
shall be installed in accordance with the directions of the City
Engineer of National City prior to the making of a final inspection
by the Building Inspector of any improvements located on said premises.

Construction is to be commenced within ninety days from date hereof.
This permit shall expire day of 19 Any violation of any of
the above conditions will void this permit and the same shall lapse and be of no effect.

(Proposed Zone Varianee)
You are hereby notified that the
City Planning Commission will hold
a public hearing after 7:30 P.M.,
Tuesday, October 13, 1959 at the
City Hall, 1245 National Avenue,
National City, California on the pro-
posed use of the following described
property to -wit: The Westerly 146
feet of that portion of Quarter Sec-
tion 106 of Rancho de la Nacion, in
the City of National City, County
of San Diego, State of California,
according to map thereof No. 166 by
Morrill, filed in the office of the
County Recorder of said County,
described as follows: Beginning at
a point 20 rods South 71° West
from the Northeast corner of said
Quarter Section 106; thence South
19' East, 240 feet to the North-
easterly corner of that subdivision
known as Williams Manor No. 3, ac-
cording to Map thereof No. 3272,
filed in the office of the County Re-
corder of said County; thence South
71° 14' West along the Northwest-
erly line of said Williams Manor No.
3 a distance of 331.15 feet to the
Northwest corner thereof, being
in the Westerly line of that par-
cel of land conveyed to Harry L.
Williams, et ux, by deed recorded
April 14, 1955 in Book 5604, : page
554 of Official Records; thence
North 18° 28' 52" West (Deed -
North 19° West) along the said
Westerly line of Williams land 240
feet to the center line of 8th Street,
being the North line of said Quarter
Section 106; thence North 71° East
along said North line 331.17 feet to
the point of beginning. RESERVING
THEREFROM an easement for
drainage purposes over the South-
erly 10 feet thereof. (Vacant prop-
erty located West of Harbison on
the South side of 8th Street, Na-
tional City.)
That it is proposed that within
the boundaries ' of the above di -
scribed property zone variance shall
be made as follows: Permission to
develop the above described prop-
erty commercially wi.:h a Midget
Shopping Center.
That any person interested may at
the time set, appear and be heard.
