RESOLUTION No. 7388
Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of National City as follows:
That a special zone variance permit be granted to Wayne W. and R.L.B. Smith
for the purpose of (1) Using a ten foot setback to a pump island for a
proposed gasoline service station, (2) placing a floodlight
standard adjacent to the property line, and (3) erecting a
three foot ten inch by twenty-two foot eight inch sign with
fourteen foot clearance under said floodlight.
Said property is describedxus>fatlk%x i n notice of use district hearing hereto
attached and by reference made a part hereof.
That- said permit is granted upon the conditions and recommendations of the City Planning Commis-
sion as hereinafter set forth:
All improvements erected pursuant to this permit shall be in
accordance r:4th`the,:plans attached to the application on file in
the City Planner's office.

Construction is to be commenced within ninety days from dote hereof.
This permit shall expire day of 19 Any violation of any of
the above conditions will void this permit and the same shall lapse and be of no effect.

You are hetehy notified that the
s City Planning,•Gommission will hold
a public hearing after 7:30 P.M.,
Monday, December 8, 1958 at the
City Hall, 1245 National Avenue,
- National City, 'California, on the
proposed use of the following de-
-scribed property to -wit:
That portion of the East 210 feet
of Quarter Section 106 of Rancho
de la Nacion, in the City of National
City, County of San Diego, State of
California, according to Map there-
of made by Morrill, No. 166, filed
in the Office of the County Record-
er of San Diego County, described
as follows: Beginning at the South-
westerly corner of Lot 1 of Rancho
Hills Unit No.. 1, according to Map
No. 2366 filed in the Office of the
County Recorder; thence South 18'
58' 30" East along the Southerly
prolongation of the Westerly line
of said Lot 1 a distance of, 52 feet
to a point in the Northerly line of
the Southerly 148 feet of said Quar-
ter Section 106, being the true point
of beginning; thence continuing
South 18' 58' 30" East 108 feet, more
or less, to a tangent 10 foot radius
curve concave Northeasterly; thence
Southeasterly and Easterly along
said curve 15.73 feet to a point of
tangency in the Northerly line of
the Southerly 30 feet of said Quar-
ter Section 106; thence North 70'

-108 feet to a point in the Westerly
line of the Easterly 92 feet of said

That it is proposed that within
the boundaries of the above.. de-
scribed property variance shall be
made a.s follows: Permission to use
a 10 foot setback to pump island in
conjunction with a permissible ser-
vice station and to place floodlight
standards adjacent to property line;
also to erect a foot 10 inch by 22
foot 8 inch sign with a 14 foot
clearance.
That any person interested may
at the time set, appear and .he
