RESOLUTION ADOPTING WAGE. SCALE
(Third Street and J Avenue)
BE IT RESOLVED by the. City Council of the City of National City as
follows:
The. City Council does hereby determine and establish that the general
prevailing rate of per diem wage for each type of craft or workman needed
to execute or perform the necessary work and improvement on Third Street
between J Avenue. and Laurel Avenue and on. J Avenue between. Third. and
Fourth Streets is in accordance with the schedule appended hereto and des-
cribed as. "Schedule of Per Diem Wage Rate" and said schedule shall be
embodiedin the notice inviting sealed bids and all contract documents in
connection with said workand improvements.

Asphalt Raker and Ironer
Fine Grader (Highway and Street Paving only)
OPERATING ENGINEERS:
Concrete or Asphalt Spreading, Tamping or
Finishing Machine Operator
Concrete Mixer Operator - Mobile Mixer
Motor Patrol Operator, including any type of
Power Blade
Pavement Breaker Operator
Roller Operator
Skip Loader Operator - Wheel Type
Tow Blade or Grader Operator
Tractor Operator - Bulldozer, Tamper, Scraper
or Drag Type Shovel or similar type
Universal Equipment Operator (Shovel, Dragline,
Derrick, Derrick -Barge, Clamshell, Crane or
Pile Driver
TRUCK DRIVERS:
Drivers of Trucks, legal payload capacity
less than 6 tons
Drivers of Trucks, legal payload capacity
between 6 and 10 tons

Overtime shall be one and one-half (1-1/2) times the above rate.
Sundays and Holidays shall be one and one-half (1-1/2) times the above rate.
The standard day shall be considered as eight (8) hours and overtime shall be
paid for any time in excess of this amount.
