HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6927RESOLUTION NO. 6927 ADOPTING PREVAILING WAGE SCALE FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF GROVE STREET WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National City did by Resolution No. 6871 adopted on the I9th day of February, 1957 approve and adopt Official Plans and Specifications for the construction of certain improvements to be made in and upon Grove Street from the centerline of 18th Street to the centerline of 22nd Street and 20th Street from the centerline of Grove Street to the centerline of Prospect Street, in the City of National City, California. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City that the City Council has deter- mined and established the general prevailing rate of per diem wage for each type of craft or workman needed to execute or perform the necessary work or improvement in accordance with the schedule appended hereto and described as "Schedule of Per Diem Wage Rate," and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said "Schedule of Per Diem Wage Rate" be embodied in the notice inviting sealed bids and all contract documents in connection with said work and improvements hereinabove described. Sundays and Holidays shall be one and one-half (1-1/2) times the above rate. The standard day shall be considered as eight (8) hours and overtime shall be paid for any time in excess of this amount. -2-
