HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 7085RESOLUTION NO. 785 RESOLUTION APPOINTING ENGINEER (Harding Avenue) The City Council of the City of National City does hereby resolve as follows: 1. The City Council of National City proposes that there be improved in said City of National City the following streets, to wit: Harding Avenue between Fourteenth and Sixteenth Streets. 2. That the proceedings for such work shall be taken in accordance with the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911" under Resolution of Intention to be hereafter adopted, provided that this City obtains jurisdiction to proceed with said work under the provisions of tie "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931." 3. That the City Engineer be and hereby is appointed Engineer of Work for the proposed improvement and is hereby authorized and directed to do all necessary engineer4thg work and to exercise all other functions provided for the office of Engineer of Work and Superintendent of Streets in the "Improvement Act of 1911" in connection with the said pro- posed improvement work; 4. That said City Engineer shall act as Engineer of Work and Superintendent of Streets and is hereby authorized and directed to prepare plans and specifications for said proposed improvement, and a plat showing the exterior boundaries of the district proposed to be assessed to pay the cost thereof, to furnish all surveys, original drawings, maps and blueprints, including any and all [daps necessary and incidental to the rights of way contemplated in the improvement work herein involved, to prepare the assessment rolls, assessment diagram and warrant and to perform all inspection work, and any and all other services that shall be required from the Engineer of Work or the Superintendent of Streets under the provisions of the "Improvement Act of 1911" or the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931."
