HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6693RESOLUTION NO. 6693 RESOLUTION DETERMINING IEITIAL VIEW OF LEGIS- LATIVE BODY THAT THE PROVISIONS OF DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS CODE WILL NOT BE VIOLATED ( HOOVER AVENUE ) t'wIEREAS, on the Z% day of JvL.y Council of the City of National City, California adopted its ResolutlanNo. 46 2 , entitled "Preliminary Determination of Legislative Body Under "Special Assessment Investigation, Limi- tation and Majority Protegt Act of 1931" (Hoover Avenue) in accordance with Sections 2820, 2821, 2822 and 2823 of said Act; NOW TH ;T EFORE _3 HEi EBY RESOLVED and determined by , 1956, the City the City Council of the City of National City that after taking the steps provided by said Sections 2820, 2821, 2822 and 2823 of said Act hereinabove referred to, that it is the initial view of this legislative body that the contemplated improvement described in s aid Resolution No. (,G 9.Labove referred to is one in which the probable assessments will not exceed the limitation set up in Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code and otherwise known as the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931"; That the City Clerk of National City is hereby directed and ordered to give notice of the contemplated action of this City Council by sailing prepaid post cards giving notice of the finding and proposed action of the City Council. Said card shall be mailed toe ach person to whom land in the proposed assessment district is assessed on the last equalized county assessment roll available on the date the notices co=ence, at his or her address as shown upon such roll, and to any person whether owner in fee or having a lien upon, or legal or equitable interest in, any land within the proposed district who has filed with the Clerk his or her name and address and a designation of the land in which he or - 1 - she is interested. Slid notice shall be in the form provided by Part 7 of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, otherwise known as the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931."
