HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6695RESOLUTION NO. 6695 RESOLUTION DETERMINING INITIAL VIEW OF fl GIS- LATIVE BODY THAT THE PROVISIONS OF DIVISION 4 OF THE STRP,'r;TS AND HIGHWAYS CODE WILL NOT BE VIOLATED ( IAVTUE ) WHEREAS,on the Iyday of vjahcf , 1956 the City Council of the City of National City, California adopted its Resolution No. d/o 9 / , entitled "Preliminary Determination of Legislative Body Under "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931" (I AVENUE)" in accordance with Section 2820, 2821, 2822 and 2823 of said Act; NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HJ;REbYRESOLVED and determined by the City Council of the City of National City that after taking the steps provided by said Sections 2820, 2821, 2822 and 2823 of said Act hereinabove referred to, it is the initial view of this legislative body that the contemplated improvements described in said Resolution No. 44.9y above referred to is one in which the probable assessments will not exceed the limitation set up in Division 4 of the Streets and highways Code and otherwise known as the "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931"; That the City Clerk of National City is hereby directed and ordered to give notice of the contemplated action of this City Council by mailing prepaid post cards giving notice of the finding and proposed action of the City Council. Said card shall be mailed to each person to whom land in the proposed assessment district is assessed on the last equali;ed county assessment roll available on the date of the comnencem&tt cif the notices, at his or her address as shown upon such roll, and to any person whether owner in fee or having a lien upon, or legal or equitable interest in, any land within the proposed district who has filed with the City Clerk his or her name and address and a designation of the land in which. 1 he or she is interested. Said notice shall be in the form pro- vided by Part 7 of Division 4 of the Streets and.
