HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6620RESOLUTION NO. 6620 PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION OF LEGISLATIVE BODY UNDER "SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMI- TATION AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931" (CLEVELAND AVENUE) The City Council of the City of Natic31 a1 City, California, does hereby resolve as follows: That certain improvements are proposed to be done and made within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district hereinafter described within the City of National City, California. In connection therewith, said City Council hereby finds and determines as follows) to wit? 1. The nature of the proposed improvements consists of grading, paving, and the construction of curbs, gutters and cross - gutters upon the streets or public ways hereinafter described within the said City of National City. 2. The location and extent of the proposed improvements will involve the construction of the described improvements upon the following described public street and public ways within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district hereinafter des- cribed, to wit: Cleveland Avenue from the center line of 13th Street to the Centerline of Twenty -Second Street. 3. The boundaries of the distpict of lands proposed to be especially assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said pro- posed work and improvements gre as shown upon a map or plat on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said City of National City, which said map indicates by a boundary line the territory to be included in the proposed assessment district, and which said map or plat governs for all details as to the extent of the district; said map or plat is designated "Map of Proposed Assessment District for the Improvement of Cleveland Avenue between the Center line of Thirteenth Street And the Centerline of Twenty -Second Street. 4. The City has allocated the amount of $24,322.67 from Gas Tax Funds for this project. This amount is to be distributed evenly over the cost of the project, including surfacing of rail- road roadbeds. The percentage of the remaining cost of said pro- posed improvemeets upon benefited": property, excluding the surfacing of railroad roadbeds, is as follows: 100% of the remaining grading cost 100% of the remaining paving cost 100%of the remaining concrete curb and gutter cost 5. The statue under which it is proposed to conduct pro- deedings for the improvement proceedings is the f°Improvemett Act of 1911" of the State of California, with Improvements Bonds to be issued as authorized under the provisions of said act. 6. The proposed work to be done is described upon the plans and specifications which are on file with the City Clerk of the City of National City, and said plans and specifications are hereby referred to for all particulars relative thereto and are open to inspection by anyone interested.
