on the 3rd day of April, 1956, the City Council
WHEREAS,
of the City of National City California adopted its Resolution
No. 6612, entitled "Preliminary Determination of Legislative Body
Under "Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority
Protest Act of 1931" (Fifth Street) in accordance with Sections
2820, 2821, 2822 and 2823 of said Act;
NOW TH :REFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED and determined by
the City Council of the City of National City that after taking the
steps provided by said Sections 2820, 2821, 2822 and 2823 of said
Act hereinabove referred to, that it is the initial view of this
legislative body that the contemplated improvement described in
said Resolution No. 6612 above referred to is one in which the Prob-
able assessments will not exceed the limitation set up in Division
4 of the Streets and Highways Code and otherwise known as the
"Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Vajority Protest
Act of 1931";
That the City Clerk of National City is hereby directed
and ordered to give notice of the contemplated action of this
City Council by mailingprepaid post cards giving notice of the
finding and proposed action of the City Council. Said card
shall be mailed to each person to whom land in t he proposed
assessment district is assessed on the last equalized county
assessment roll available on the date the notices commence, at his
or her address as shown upon such roll, and to any person whether
owner.: in fee or having a lien upon, or legal or equitable interest
in, any land within the proposed district who has filed with the
Clerk his or her name and address and a designa:i.on of the land in

which iae or she is interested. Said notice shall be in the form
provided by Part 7 of Division 4 of the Streets and Highways
Code of the State of California, otherwise known as the "Special
Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of
1931".
