Be it resolved by the City Council of National City as
follows:
A. The City Council of National City hereby finds and deter-
mines as follows:
1. A tentative map of a Subdivision known as Susan
Manor Subdivision has within one year last past
been approved by the City Council of City of
National City, and is on file in the City Clerk's
office.
2. Detailed plans and specifications have been sub-
mitted to and approved by the City Engineer pro-
viding for all the improvements required to be
made by Ordinance No. 803 of City of National City
in said Susan Manor Subdivision, and are on file
in the City Clerk's office.
3. The Subdivider has filed with the City Clerk detailed
estimates approved by the City Engineer showing the
cost of such improvements and thetime reasonably
necessary to complete the same.
4. The Subdivider has submitted evidence, approved as
to orm and legality by the City Attorney, that
arrangements have been completed to supply domestic
water to s aid proposed Subdivision.
5. The Subdivider has executed and submitted to the
City Council a proposed form of contract, approved
as to form and legality by the City Attorney, pro-
viding for the o nstruction of the required improve-
ments in accordance with the approved plans and
specifications.
6. The Subdivider has submitted a Faithful Performance
Bond, approved as to form and legality by the City
Attorney, in a sum equal to the estimated costs of
the improvements.
7. The Subdivider has submitted a final map of said
Subdivision.
8. The City Engineer has examined said final map for
correctness of survey data, mathematical data and
computations and setting of monuments and has
certified that said final map is technically
correct.
9. The City Engineer and the Chairman of the Planning
Commission of National City have certified that they
have examined each plot in the Subdivision as to its
value for residential or business purposes and found
it suitable for such purpose3.
10. The Planning Commission has examined the final map
for compliance with the tenative map and is satisfied
that the subdivision complies with the provisions of
Ordinance No. 803 and the Subdivision Map Act and
has approved and recommended ii adoption by the
City Council.
11. The City Attorney of National City has approved said
final map and the certificates appearing; thereon.
B. The proposed contract submitted by the Subdivider, a copy
of which is attached hereto, be and thesame hereby is
approved, and the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed
to execute the same for and in behalf of National City.
C. The Surety Bond in the principal sum of Nineteen thousand
dollars (a9,000.00) guaranteeing performance of said
contract is hereby approved and ordered filed.
D. The City Council of City of National City hereby approves
said final map and hereby accepts, on behalf of the public,
all streets, alleys, rights of way and all parcels of
land offered for dedication for public use by and on said
final map, and the City Clerk and ,l'ayor are hereby
authorized and directed to so certify on said final
map.
E. The City Clerk of National City is hereby authorized
and directed to transmit said final map to the Clerk
of the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego.

CONTRACT FOR COMPLETION OF SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENTS
IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between CITY OF NATIONAL CITY, a municipal
corporation and SHATTUCK CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, hereinafter called Second
Party, as follows:
W ITNESSET H:
WHEREAS, the Second Party is the owner of real property in the City
of Nation& City, County of San Diego, State of California, said property
being a portion of Quarter Section 103 of the Rancho de la Nacion as shown
on Susan Manor Subdivision Map, to which reference is hereby made, and
WHEREAS, the Second Party proposes to create a 22 lot subdivision,
of said above described property, to be known as Susan Manor Subdivision,
and to effect the same has heretofore filed with the proper authorities
of the said City of National_City the necessary maps and improvement plans
and other data in conformity with the laws of the State of California and
the ordinances of the City of National City applicable thereto; and
WHEREAS, the said proper authorities of said City have found the
proposed subdivision plan to be acceptable and in accord with the best in-
terests of said City; and
WHEREAS, the City of National City is entitled to require from the
Second Party, and does require from the Second Party, as a condition pre-
cedent to the acceptance of any and all street and easements, assurances
for the completion of the public improvement in said subdivision as is
provided therefor in said plans and specifications as have heretofore been
approved as aforesaid; and
WHEREAS, the Second Party is desirous of supplying such assurances;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between CITY OF NATIONAL
CITY a,nd said SECOND PARTY, as follows:
1. Said Second Party agrees to undertake and complete, and to pay
for all labor and materials in connection therewith, within a period of 360
days from the date hereof, all the necessary work and installation of improve-
ment in the hereinabove described subdivision in full conformity with the
Ordinances of the City of National City, the laws of the State of California
and directions of proper officials of the City of National City, California,
all pursuant to the approved plans and specifications therefore
on file in the City Clerk's OfSt.ce,

as may be applicable thereto. The estimated cost of said improvements is
$ 19.000.00
The Second Party further agrees to indemnify, protect and hold harm-
less the said City of National City from any and all claims of liability
for personal injury, property damage, labor or material claims which may be
made against said City by reason of said work and installation of improvements
as herein provided.
2. As a guarantee and as security for its full and faithful performance
in complying with all the requirements for the completion of said subdivision
as aforesaid, the said Second Party shall deliver to the said City of
National City, upon the execution of this agreement, as good and sufficient
bond executed by an authorized surety company satisfactory to the said City
of National City in the sum of $ 19,000.00
3. Upon the execution by Second Party of this Contract and the posting
of the bond as herein provided, and upon the full and complete performance by
Second Party of all requirements imposed upon Second Party by Ordinances Nos.
803, 855, and other applicable ordinances of National City, the City of
National City agrees to approve the Final Map of said subdivision and accept
the same for recordation.
