RESOLUTION ADOPTING SCALE OF PREVAILING WAGE RATES
WHEREAS, the Council of The City of National City,
California, pursuant to the authority vested in them by
the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and amend-
ments thereto, will invite sealed proposals or bids for
work to be done under the aforementioned Improvement Act
of 1911, and amendments thereto; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, by the Council of The City of National
City, as follows:
That in connection with said proposed work under the
provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and amendments
thereto, this Council does ascertain and declares that the
prevailing rate of per diem wages paid by private
employers in The City of National City for the same
quality of service for eight (8) hours for each craft,
laborer, type of workman or mechanic needed to execute
said work is as follows:

Operators and tenders of pneumatic
and electric tools, vibrating
machine and similar mechanical

Motor ratrol Operator, including any

Any classification emitted herein not less than 16.60
OVERTIME
Not less than one and one-half times the said prevail-
ing or current rate of per diem wages shall be paid for
extra work performed by such laborers, workmen, or mechanics
on Sundays and legal holidays as set forth and designated
by the Council of said City of National City by Ordinance
No. 835, and for work performed in excess of eight (8)
hours in any one calander day, in such cases in which such
overtime work is permitted by law.
AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said "Schedule of
Per Diem Wage Rates" be embodied in the Notice Inviting
Sealed Bids and all contract documents in connection with
said work and improvement hereinabove mentioned.
