HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6396RESOLUTION NO. 6396 WHEREAS, The San Diego County Master Plan of Major Highways indicates that South Forty-third Street is to be extended from a point north of Logan Avenue to Fairmount Avenue, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of National City has officially adopted a sixty-four foot minimum travelwa.y for Highland Avenue within said City, and WHEREAS, it is deemed to be of prime importance to secure the necessary rights-of-wa.y for the aforementioned extension through the U. S. Government Housing area. and through the properties of the Greenwood Memorial Park north of Logan Avenue NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NATIONAL CITY AS FOLLOWS: 1. That San Diego County and City of San Diego be requested to secure deeds through the aforementioned properties in order to prevent a.ny use of the land involved that would be detrimental to the proposed extension. 2. That the Board of Directors of the National City Chamber of Commerce, the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors of San Diego County, the City Planning Commission and City Council of the City of San Diego and the Planning Commission, City Council and Chamber of Commerce of Chula Vista. be sent copies of the Resolution.
