PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION OF LEGISLATIVE BODY
UNDER "SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMI-
TATION AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931"
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
National City, California, that certain improvements are
proposed to be done and made within the boundaries of the
proposed assessment district hereinafter described, within
the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of
California. In connection therewith, said City Council
hereby finds and determines as follows, to -wit:
1. The nature of the proposed improvement consists
of grading, paving, the construction of Type G concrete
curb and otherwise improving upon the streets or public
ways hereinafter described within the said City of
National City.
2. The location and extent of the proposed improve-
ments will involve the construction of the described
improvements upon the following described public streets
and public ways within the boundaries of the proposed
assessment district hereinafter described, to -wit:
SEVENTH STREET from the centerline of Palm
Avenue to the Westerly line of the Southeast Quarter of
40 Acre Lot 2 of Quarter Section 131 of the Rancho de la
Nacicn according to Yap No. 166 filed in the office of
the County Recorder of the County of San Diego, State of
California.
3. The boundaries of the district of lands proposed
to be especially assessed to pay the costs and expenses of
said proposed work and improvement are as shown upon a map
or plat on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said
City of National CiLy, which said map indicates by a
boundary line the territory to be included in the proposed
assessment district, and which said map or plat governs
for all details as to the extent of the district; said
map or plat is designated "Map of .proposed Assessment
District for the Improvement of Seventh Street from the
centerline of calm Avenue to the Westerly line of the
Southeast Quarter of 40 Acre Lot 2 of One Quarter Section
131 of the Rancho de la Nacion according to Map No. 166".
4. The percentage of the cost of said proposed
improvements upon benefited property is as follows:
1000 of the grading
100% of the paving
100% of the construction of Type G curb
100% of the incidental expenses
5. The statute under which it is proposed to conduct
proceedings for the improvement proceedings is the
"Improvement Act of 1911" of the State of California with
Improvements Bonds to be issued as authorized under the
provisions of said Act.
6. The proposed work to be done is described upon
the plans and specifications which are on file with the
City Clerk of the City of National City, and said plans
and specifications are hereby referred to for all
particulars relative thereto and are open to inspection
by anyone interested.
