HomeMy WebLinkAboutCC RESO 6415RESOLUTION NO. 6415 PRELIMINARY DETERMINATION OF LEGISLATIVE BODY UNDER "SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMI- TATION AND MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931" BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of National City, California, that certain improvements are proposed to be done and made within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district hereinafter described, within the City of National City, County of San Diego, State of California. In connection therewith, said City Council hereby finds and determines as follows, to -wit: 1. The nature of the proposed improvements consists of grading, paving, the construction of concrete sidewalks and cross gutters and otherwise improving upon the streets or public ways hereinafter described within the said City of National City. 2. The location and extent of the proposed improve- ments will involve the construction of the described improvements upon the following described public streets and public ways within the boundaries of the proposed assessment district hereinafter described, to -wit: "K" AVENUE between the centerline of Eighteenth Street and the centerline of Twenty-first Street. 3. The boundaries of the district of lands proposed to be especially assessed to pay the costs and expenses of said proposed work and improvement are as shown upon a map or plat on file in the office of the City Clerk of the said City of National City, which said map indicates by a boundary line the territory to be included in the proposed assessment district, and which said map or plat governs for all details as to the extent of the district; said map or plat is designated "Map of Proposed Assessment District for the Improvement of "K" AVENUE between the centerline of Eighteenth Street and the centerline of Twenty-first Street." 4. The percentage of the cost of said proposed improvements upon benefited property is as follows: 100% of the grading 100% of the paving 100% of the concrete sidewalk 100% of the concrete cross gutters 1000 of the incidental expenses 5. The statute under which it is proposed to conduct proceedings for the improvement proceedings is the "Improvement Act of 1911" of the State of California with Improvement Bonds vo be issued as authorized under provisions of said Act. 6. The proposed work to be done is described upon the plans and profiles and specifications which are on file with the City Clerk of the City of National City, and said plans and specifications are hereby referred to for all particulars relative thereto and are open to inspection by anyone interested.
