RESOLUTION DETERMINING INITIAL VIEW OF
LEGISLATIVE BODY THAT ThE PROVISIONS OF
DIVISION 4 OF THE STREETS AND HIGHWAYS
CODE WILL NOT BE VIOLATED
WHEREAS, on the 7th day of June , 1955,
the City Council of the City of National City, adopted its
Resolution No. 6415 , entitled,"Preliminary Determination
of Legislative Body Under "Special Assessment Investigation,
Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931", in accordance
with Sections 2820, 2821,,2822 and 2823 of said Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS h.EHEBY RESOLVED and determined
by the City Council of the City of National City, that after
taking steps provided by said Sections 2820, 2821, 2822 and
2823 of said Act hereinabove referred to, that it is the
initial view of this legislative body that the contemplated
improvement described in said Resolution No. 6415 above
referred to is one in which the probable assessments will
not exceed the limitations set up in Division 4 of the
Streets and Highways Code and otherwise known as the "Special
Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest
Act of 1931";
That the Clerk of the City of National C{ty is hereby
directed and ordered to give notice of the contemplated
action of this City Council by mailing prepaid post cards
`iving notice of the findings and proposed action of the
City of National City. Said cards shall be mailed to each
Person to whom land in the proposed assessment district is
assessed on the last equalized county assessment roll
available on the date the notices commence, and his or her
address as shown upon such roll and to any person, whether
owner in fee or having a lein upon, or legal or equitable
interest in, any land within the proposed district who has
filed with the Clerk his or her name and address and a
designation of the land in which he or she is interested.
Such notice shall be in the form provided by Part 7 of
Division 4 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State
of California, otherwise known as the "Special Assessment
Investigation, Limitation and Majority Protest Act of 1931".
