The County shall furnisn all parts, labor, materials and electric power to coiapletply maintain and keep in proper operation at all times the traffic signal system, including controllers, lamps, mounting standar'ds and appurtenances, located at the intersection cf 30th Street and Highland Street to the extent that such maintenance ia required by normal wear and tear, collision, fire, acts of God and other causes. 2. The County shall apply one coat of paint once a year to all equipment and apparatus exposed to the weather. 3. The term of this agreement shall be from June 1, 1955 to June 30, 1956 and shall be automatically renewed from year to year thereafter unless sixt:, (50) days prior to the expiration of said terns or any renewal period notice of -intention not to renew is given by one party to the other; provided, however, that this agreement shall automatically terminate at such time as the entire intersection of 30th Street and Highland Street becomes a part of the incorporated territory of the City. 4. The City shall pay to the County twenty-five (25) per cent of the County'e costs of maintenance of the traffic signals pursuant to this agreement. The County shall render monthly invoices to the City and. tee amount thereof shall be paid by the City to the County on or before the 15th of the month following that in which the invoice ,i so rendered. 5. In t c event oimage tc said traffic signal system, the County is authorized to recover the amount or the damages and its: costs of recovery perenn causing the damage and the amounts recovered shall be and remain the property of the County; provided, however, after payment of the Ceunty's cost of recevery(which shall not be limited to court costs) twenty-five (25) per cent of the balance recovered shall be oredited to the City and applies in payment of any amounts which nay become awing to the County under this agreement. IN WITNESS WHEREOF the City, pursuant to a resolution of its City Council, and the County, pursuant to a resolution of its Boars of Supervisors, has caused this agreement to be executed the day first above written.
