WHEREAS, a tentative map of a subdivision known as RICARDO TERRACE
SUBDIVISION has been regularly accepted by CITY OF NATIONAL CITY subject
to any and all conditions and requirements imposed by the Planning Commission
and Ordinance No. 803 of said City, and
WHEREAS, a final map of said subdivision has been regularly filed
by the Subdivider with CITY OF NATIONAL CITY: and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 803 of said City, the Subdivider
submitted a form of contract with CITY OF NATIONAL CITY whereby the Sub-
divider agrees to complete certain improvements in said Subdivision; and
HEREAS, all the mandatory conditions and provisions required by
Ordinance No. 803 of CITY OF NATIONAL CITY have been complied with;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of CITY OF
NATIONAL CITY, California, as follows:
That certain agreement between J. R. SHATTUCK, a copy of which is
attached hereto, be, and the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor is
hereby authorized and directed to execute the same for and in behalf of the
City.
The surety bond in the principal sum of $60,000.00 submitted by
guaranteeing performance
of said contract is hereby approved.'
That the final map of RICARDO TERRACE SUBDIVISION be, and the
same is hereby approved.
That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized and directed
to execu,:e a certificate stating that the City Council of CITY OF NATIONAL
CITY approved said map and accepted, on behalf of the public, all streets,
alleys, rights of way and all parcels of land offered for dedication for
public use by and on said final map.
That the Mayor of said City if hereby authorized and directed to
sign said final map for and upon behalf of CITY OF NATIONAL CITY.
That the City Clerk of said City is hereby authorized and
directed to comply fully with the conditions and requirements set forth in

CHAPTER 2 PART 2, DIVISION 4 of the Business and Professions Code of the
State of California.

WHEREAS, the Second Party proposes to create a 53 lot subdivision
of said ::Love described property, to be known as Ricardo Terrace Subdivision,
and to effect the same has heretofore filed with the proper authorities of
the said City of National City the necessary maps and improvement plans and
other data in conformity with the 1:aws of the State of California and the
ordinances of the City of National City applicable thereto; and
WHEREAS, the said proper authorities of said City have found the
proposed subdivision plan to be ;;cceptaable and in accord with the best
interests of said City; and
WHEREAS, the City of National City is entitled to. require from the
Second Party,and does require from Second Party, as a condition precedent
to the acceptance of any and all street and easements, assurances for the
completion of the public improvements in said subdivision as is provided
therefor in said plans and specifications as have heretofore been approved
as aforesaid; and
WHEREAS, the Second Party is desirous of supplying such assurances;
NOW,THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY AGREED by and between CITY OF NATIONAL
CITY and said SECOND PARTY, as follows:
1. Said Second Party agrees to undertake and complete,and to pay
for all labor and materials in connection therewith, within a period of 3(lp
days from the date hereof, all the necessary work and installation of improve-
ments in the hereinabove described subdivision in full conformity with the said
plans and specifications, Clerks Document No.a/ 9 and also the

2. As a guarantee ary as security for its full and faithful
performance in complying with all the requirements for the completion of
said subdivision as aforesaid, the said Second Party shall deliver to the
-said City of National City, upon the execution of this agreement, a good and
sufficient bond executed by an authorized surety company satisfactory to the
said City of National City in the sum of.$o0,000.00.
3. Ur.on the execution r-y Second Party of this Contract and the

performance by ecdnd Party of all reouirecnents imposed upon Second Party
by Ordinances Nos. 803, 85,t, and other applicable ordinances of National City,
the City of National City agrees to approve the Final Map of said subdivision
and accept the same for recordation.
